Bistrotheque opened 17 years ago and was inspired by the humble French Bistro. We are located between Bethnal Green and Hackney, in a two-storey unmarked warehouse. The team is small and friendly and we believe in mutual respect.
We are looking for PART-TIME Sous Chefs with availability to work appx. 12 to 18 hours per week with the work concentrated from Friday to Sunday. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have experience in both a regular restaurant service kitchen. This is a great role if you have something else in your life: study, another job, other freelancing.
HOURS Varied hours per week, appx. 12 to 18
LOCATION E2, very close to Cambridge Heath Overground and a short walk to Bethnal Green Underground.
REMUNERATION Up to £18.00 per hour
ABOUT YOU At least 2 years experience in a quality/volume kitchen with at least 1 year at CDP level. Consistency, attention to detail and good organisation are your trademarks. We are drawn to those who are team players and able to work within a framework with sufficient flexibility to cope with the unexpected turns events can sometimes take.
REQUIREMENTS Must have Level 2 food hygiene, Level 3 is ideal.
