THE ROLE
This role is working as one of two dispense bartenders on our main restaurant bar, ensuring drinks are flowing quickly, efficiently and consistently to spec. Within three months we would want you to be trained sufficiently to be able to direct set up, service and closedown of the bar. Beyond that, we would ideally want to build you into a senior bartender to support the bar manager including drinks creation and menu development
Basic Package
- £10.00 per hour house pay plus generous tronc. This role has an earning capacity of at least £15 per hour.
- 30 - 35 hours per week
- Thursday & Friday evening; Saturday double, Sunday brunch
- Monday to Wednesday off
- 6 weeks holiday, 4 of which are to be taken in August each year.

Bistrotheque opened 17 years ago and was inspired by the humble French Bistro. We are located between Bethnal Green and Hackney, in a two-storey unmarked warehouse. Over time, we’ve built a loyal following of stylish East Londoners who appreciate quality and consistency. The team is small and friendly and we believe in mutual respect.
LOCATION E2 9DR, very close to Cambridge Heath Overground and a short walk to Bethnal Green Underground.
ABOUT YOU At least one year of cocktail bartending experience, preferably with a knowledge of dispense bars and drinks service. You are passionate about great drinks and great service. You love to nurture and develop junior members of the team. You will understand the bar is a business that needs to be organised & professional under the bonnet. This is about teamwork and managing within a given framework so no massive egos. It is possible to combine this role with something else in your life - study, another job, freelancing, etc - our only stipulation is that this has zero impact on your commitment to this job, which must be total.
