Description
The Role
- The Barback role supports the restaurant bar team during brunch & dinner services. It can be physically demanding and may involve carrying drinks, up & downstairs, glass washing, polishing and bar set up. No experience is necessary and an ideal stepping stone to becoming a bartender. We will provide the training to get you there.
- From Barback, it is possible to progress to Bartender — this is our expectation!
Details
- Earning potential £11.50 per hour
- Thursday to Sunday, two to three shifts per week.
- E2, very close to Cambridge Heath overground and a short walk to Bethnal Green tube

Bistrotheque opened 17 years ago and was inspired by the humble French Bistro. We are located between Bethnal Green and Hackney, in a two-storey unmarked warehouse. Over time, we’ve built a loyal following of stylish East Londoners who appreciate quality and consistency. The team is small and friendly and we believe in mutual respect.
