Job description
THE ROLE
We are looking for Event Waiters to work ad hoc Events at both ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) in Central London and Bistrotheque in Bethnal Green. Work may also be in and around other locations in London.
This is work without a fixed schedule with good remuneration. We will contact you a month in advance for your availability for service shifts or when an event is booked whichever is the sooner giving you the opportunity to accept jobs on a first-come-first-served basis. This is a great role if you have something else in your life: study, another job, or other freelancing.
- Hours: Varied hours per week. Events could occur at any time during the week.
- Location: ICA — very close to Trafalgar Square. Bistrotheque — close to Bethnal Green tube.
- Remuneration: from £15.00 per hour paid monthly
ABOUT BISTROTHEQUE and ICA
Bistrotheque opened in 2004 inspired by the humble French Bistro, located between Bethnal Green and Hackney, in a two-storey unmarked warehouse. ICA is an exhibition, gallery and performance space and events venue in Central London.ABOUT YOU
We are drawn to those who are team players and able to work within a framework with sufficient flexibility to cope with the unexpected turns events can sometimes take.
REQUIREMENTS
I year's experience working in either as an event waiter or restaurant waiter.
