Junior Sous Chef - Bistrotheque
Join Our East London Kitchen Team 

We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our established Bistrotheque kitchen team in our iconic East London warehouse venue. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a quality-driven environment serving up to 180 covers per service across our dinner service (Tuesday to Saturday) and popular weekend brunch. 

Working alongside our Head Chef Kieran Hope, you'll be responsible for food preparation, service execution, and supporting our busy events programme. We pride ourselves on consistency and quality, and we're looking for someone who shares these values. 

What We Offer: 
  • Competitive pay: £18 to £20 per hour (based on experience)

Located in our distinctive unmarked warehouse between Bethnal Green and Hackney, we've built a loyal following through our commitment to quality cooking and consistent service. About You — We're looking for someone who embodies our values of quality, consistency, and teamwork: 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a quality kitchen environment
  • At least 18 months experience at CDP level or equivalent
  • Proven track record in high-volume service (150+ covers)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Understanding of food costing and waste management
