We have an exciting & rewarding opportunity for a General Assistant! Benefits include good rates of pay, excellent gratuities / tronc for all staff, 28 days annual leave, pension scheme, development opportunities, use of the hotel facilities (off peak), discounts on stays, food and wine and other staff perks.

Join our team and work across the different areas of the business, providing a warm and friendly support to our guests throughout their journey through the hotel. You will meet and greet upon arrival, provide excellent service throughout their stay and wave them farewell as the checkout.

This is an opportunity will allow you to gain experience in multiple departments in the hospitality sector and is an excellent way to grow into a supervisory or management role.

Role of the General Assistant:

·         Greeting and serving guests

·         Looking after guest needs and maintain friendly polite and courteous attitude.

·         Advise customers on beverages

·         Regular replenishment of stocks and fridges

·         Supporting the bar and restaurant

·         Cleaning of the front of house areas – hoover / dust

·         Table service

·         Replenishing amenities to deliver excellent guest experiences.

·         Assisting with serving afternoon teas

 

Experience / Skills of the General Assistant:

 

·         Looking after guest needs and maintain polite and courteous attitude.

·         No experience required as full training provide

·        A high standard of personal presentation

·        Confident professional and welcoming personality

·        Excellent attention to detail and high standards

 

Working Hours:

Full-time and Part-time positions covering early, mid and late shifts, 7 days per week.

Job Type: Permanent or seasonal work (suited to students).
