The Blakeney Hotel is an award winning, four star, 64 bedroom, privately owned and family run hotel located in an unrivalled position on the Quay in Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team of Hotel Porters to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, whilst maintaining a clean and presentable environment for our guests to enjoy. 

Role of the Porter:

·         Greeting and serving guests refreshments, whether in the bar, sitting rooms, or outside on the terrace overlooking the Quay.

·         Assisting guests with their luggage.

·         Dealing with guests' queries and ensuring guests' needs are met, or exceeded, at every opportunity.

·         Serving afternoon teas.

·         Ensuring the front of house areas are kept clean and tidy.

.         Assisting with the cleaning and presentation of outside areas.

·         Assisting in other areas of the hotel, as required. 

Role would suit candidate with: 

·        A polite, courteous and positive attitude.

.        A friendly, courteous and helpful nature.

·        Experience in hospitality (preferred)

·        A high standard of personal presentation.

·        Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.

 Working Hours:

Straight shifts covering early (7am-3.30pm) mid (10am-6.30pm) and late (3.30pm-11pm) including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Due to our location, where public transport is very limited, having your own transport is essential to be able to commute reliably to and from the hotel.
