Description

The Blakeney Hotel is an award winning privately owned and family run 4-star hotel on the North Norfolk Coast. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic applicants to join the Bar and Restaurant team.

Role of the Bartender:

  • Welcoming guests - the bar person is often the first person our guests encounter as they enter the hotel.
  • Serving and advising guests on beverages and menu choices
  • Regularly replenishing stocks and fridges, ensuring attention to stock rotation
  • Mixing and serving of Cocktails
  • Cleaning of the bar area
  • Providing table service to the bar and terrace, as well as some table service to the restaurant  and lounges when required
  • Preparing and setting up  – ice, fruit, cutlery etc
  • Serving bar snacks, lunches and clearing tables

 What we’re looking for:  

  • Someone who is friendly, warm and welcoming with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar role with hospitality experience.
  • Knowledge of wine and beverages (desirable).
  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.

Working Hours:

Full-time and Part-time positions, working straight shifts covering day time, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
