Description

Role of the Senior Chef:

  • Prepare, cook and present an exceptionally high standard of food in line with standards
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Share ideas and suggestions with the Head Chef
  • Supervise, train and encourage more junior members of the team
  • Work as part of a team to ensure a safe yet effective food operation, in compliance with set out health & safety and food hygiene standards.
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
  • Work with colleagues to complete relevant kitchen paperwork records including temperature checks, delivery checks, cooking records, cleaning checklists and allergen records.
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift

Experience / Skills of the Chef

  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment,
  • Food hygiene certification is preferred. You will require good knowledge of food hygiene standards.
  • Have a flexible, professional and friendly manner.
  • Good organisation and efficiency skills

Working Hours:

Full-time covering breakfast, lunch and dinners. Includes evenings and weekends on a rota basis. A mix of straight and split shifts

Job Type: Permanent. Live in accomodation while on shift may be available on application.

Location: Blakeney, Norfolk
