The Wild Duck is a beautifully restored Cotswolds inn located in the village of Ewen near Cirencester. Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for running your section during preparation and service.
• Prepare and cook dishes to the highest quality using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in maintaining smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and minimising waste.
• Help train and mentor junior chefs, including Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials where appropriate.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience as a Chef de Partie and is ready to take on additional responsibility.
• Demonstrates excellent cooking skills and a passion for seasonal, produce-led food.
• Is confident running a busy section and supporting others during service.
• Shows strong organisation, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Works well within a team and contributes to a positive kitchen culture.
• Is eager to continue developing within a professional and ambitious kitchen environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
