Role: Waiting Staff

Pay: Up to £ 13 per hour + Tips

Location: The Boathouse, 9 Quay Road, Christchurch BH23 1BU

We are looking for experienced, customer focused Waiting Staff to join our busy waterside restaurant and friendly team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and confident working in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service to our customers.

Your responsibilities as a Waiting Staff:

·      Serving our guests with the highest level of customer service.

·      Being responsible for the running of your own section; taking orders, building rapport, dealing with queries.

·      Using our POS system to enter food and beverage orders.

·      Keeping stations always topped up with napkins, cutlery, side plates etc.

·      Assisting your colleagues in running food and beverages.

·      Working well under pressure in busy periods. 

·      Keeping the restaurant clean and adhering to hygiene regulations.

·      Understanding of allergies and intolerances. 

·      Understanding of our menu and having the ability to upsell.

What we are looking for:

·      Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including evening, nights, weekends and public holidays.

·      Previous experience as a waiting staff or a customer facing role

·      Excellent team player

·      Good verbal and written English. 

·      Strong initiative and being proactive.
