In acquiring the former Maisonette building, BRG also obtained the La Normandie space located in the rustic basement. The former steakhouse was dark and cozy with a large fireplace. The space screams comfort, authenticity, and pasta! To pay homage to the ancient brick and mortar, Chef Falk developed the Sotto concept. Tenacious and restrained, hardcore and heartfelt, we practice the tradition of generations of chefs in an underground hideaway. Sotto’s menu is fire, meat, wheat, and above all, Italian.
Director of Ops Responsibilities
+ Must be located in/relocatable to Cincinnati, Ohio.
+ Position will support the FOH operations for Boca and Sotto, grossing $10M in sales total. There will be a Culinary Director of Operations to focus on BOH operations.
+ High energy and drive for enhancing a concept built around world-class service, exceptional dishes, and a knowledgeable staff.
+ Responsible for coaching the management team to meet operational values and building sales through a people first approach
+ Full P&L responsibility and accountability for both restaurants
+ Provide support to GMs with regard to guest and employee relations
+ Partners with managers to ensure all policies, procedures, and service standards are followed.
+ Will report to the VP of Restaurant Operations and will assist with strategizing same-store growth
Qualifications
+ 2+ years multi-unit management experience
+ 5+ years experience managing upscale and fine dining restaurants
+ A entrepreneurial outlook and innovative approach to management objectives
+ Proven history in building and developing teams
+ Strong financial acumen
+ Polished demeanor
+ Creative thinker
