Now Hiring: Baker | Bonrue Bakery

Who We Are

Bonrue Bakery is more than flour and fire—it's craft, speed, and soul. With locations across Southern Utah, our brand was born from Michelin-trained roots and fueled by a deep respect for European baking traditions. Our pastries and breads are made from scratch daily—no shortcuts, no compromises.

We're looking for passionate Bakers to join our back-of-house team. If you love working with your hands, moving at a pace, and perfecting the same product day after day, this is the place for you.

The Role

As a Baker at Bonrue, you'll be responsible for preparing and producing daily baked goods following standardized recipes and techniques. You'll work side by side with a passionate team to create consistent, high-quality products while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare artisan breads, viennoiseries, and savory items according to Bonrue standards
  • Scale, mix, shape, and proof doughs using established formulas
  • Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality
  • Keep workstations clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
  • Label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished goods
  • Communicate with the Head Baker on product needs and shift flow
  • Maintain pace during high-volume production windows
  • Assist with packaging, portioning, or topping items as needed
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols consistently

Who You Are

  • Have 1–2 years of professional baking experience (or culinary training)
  • Open availability: must be able to work morning or evening shifts, with flexibility around days off (including weekends and holidays as needed)
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Can follow precise instructions and repeat processes with consistency
  • Are detail-oriented and take pride in craftsmanship
  • A reliable teammate with strong time management skills
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid Food Handler's Permit
  • Can lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • On-the-job training in artisan techniques
  • Opportunities for advancement into Head Baker or Lead roles
  • A kitchen culture built on humility, speed, and standards
  • A chance to work with passionate bakers and inspiring leaders
