About the role
As a Kitchen Manager you’ll have a passion for all things food and a love of cooking, you will be confident running a high volume, fast paced kitchen and supporting your team. 
You’ll take pride in in achieving the highest levels of cleanliness and health & safety. You’ll be a natural leader and be able to inspire and motivate your team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Completion of rota's in line with sales forecasts
  • Place food orders
  • Delivering our food to specification and understanding the importance of quality and consistency
  • Ensuring all delivery items are inspected for quantity, quality and use-by date and are put away correctly
  • Can fully explain and demonstrate the allergen procedures 
  • Oversee all open and close down checks
  • Is cost aware and protects profit, whilst acting responsibly around business controls
  • Take responsibility to ensure that all employees are trained to the minimum legal requirements
  • Deliver stock to budget weekly
  • Prepare for and hold team performance reviews
  • Responsible for the management of stock, security and wastage and implement initiatives to control any areas of concerns
  • Responsible for completing all weekly paperwork
  • Ensure that you comply with legislation regarding Health & Safety and Food Hygiene and Licensing laws.
