About the role
We’re looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager to jump in and help create a great kitchen environment for the whole team to deliver great customer experiences. Our Assistant Kitchen Managers are capable of running shifts, sharing skills and nurturing teams. We believe that working together – looking after our people and the planet, will result in a sustainable profitable business.
Our Assistant Kitchen Managers are supported by the Kitchen Manager, General Manager and wider BTP team.
We believe that a balance between work and play is essential for human happiness, that's why we don't ask our people to work late or do split shifts.
Are you our person?
You’ll be both people and food focused – making sure the team running the kitchen and the food leaving the kitchen are tip top. You will believe that great ingredients, cooked with care will convert into loyal customers. Your customers are always a priority and you’ll naturally enjoy working closely with the front of house team to deliver great Boston experiences.
You should be confident in your own abilities – able to run smooth shifts in the absence of your Kitchen Manager, even when the heat is on. You’ll also thrive on building positive relationships with the wider BTP team.
You will care about well-sourced ingredients and be conscious of the decisions you and the business make, as we want to have a long-term positive impact on the world around us.
