Description

Join the team behind one of Warwickshire’s most beautiful wedding venues.

At Bourton Hall, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional food from scratch, using fresh ingredients to deliver memorable dining experiences for our couples and their guests. As part of our kitchen team, you'll have the opportunity to be hands-on in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and be part of something special.

What You Can Expect From Us:

  • A busy, professional kitchen that cooks everything from scratch

  • Real opportunities to develop your skills and learn on the job

  • A fun, friendly and focused team that supports each other

About the Role:

Yes, there’s plenty of washing up – but there’s also plenty of prep, real cooking, and the chance to be involved in service. You’ll be an important part of the kitchen brigade, helping to keep things running smoothly while learning the foundations of working in a professional, scratch-cook kitchen.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Helping prepare fresh ingredients for our menus – peeling, chopping, portioning

  • Supporting chefs during service with plating and prep tasks

  • Keeping the kitchen spotless – washing pots, pans, utensils and more

  • Looking after deliveries and keeping food storage areas clean and organised

  • End-of-day cleaning and equipment care

  • Disposing of kitchen waste properly and safely

Who We’re Looking For:

  • No experience necessary – just a can-do attitude and a willingness to get involved

  • Someone who’s reliable, energetic, and happy to be part of a team

  • Comfortable with flexible hours, especially during our busy wedding season

Full-time hours available for the right candidate.

Surrounded by twelve acres of gardens, woodland & parkland, and endowed with stunning views across rolling Warwickshire countryside, you will find the striking Italianate-style mansion and a former Catholic chapel of Bourton Hall. Our country house boasts a wealth of history and character, with multiple reception rooms, bars and ceremony options, as well as 21 luxurious bedrooms including our gorgeous Honeymoon Suite, The Lady Bourton.

Our beautiful wedding venue had its first wedding in 2020 and has been offering dream weddings ever since. Part of the Country House Weddings portfolio of hand-picked wedding venues, with more than 30 years of experience offering perfect weddings to couples, our exclusive-use, all-inclusive wedding packages take care of your wedding day from start to finish, overseen by our expert team.

From specialist wedding Chefs, experienced Personal Wedding Managers and a fantastic wait team, to knowledgeable grounds teams and passionate housekeepers, our teams pride themselves on providing a top-quality service that helps make our weddings a success.
