Bow Street Tavern

We are a busy pub located right in the middle of Covent Garden, directly opposite the Opera House we house the Theatrelands Locals.<br>One of London's most iconic and historic pubs! Established in 1763, the Bow Street Tavern has witnessed many historical events - most notably the formation of the Bow Street Runners who are considered the first British police force. The pub was almost certainly frequented by them and has a cell in the basement that used to house prisoners!
