Event Operations Manager– The Bowery Hotel

We are looking to find the next member to join our team! We are a busy, downtown hotel hosting over 150 events per year. We host weddings, social, corporate and not for profit clients, making what we do, always interesting and keeping us on our toes!

We are looking to fill the role of Event Operations Manager with a fun, passionate and motivated individual who loves all things events. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling, payroll, inventory, day to day operations and venue management. The devil is in the details and this would be one of the strongest traits we would be looking for in a candidate, as well as a strong work ethic.

This position reports directly to the Director of Special Events and assists in overseeing all event staff from managers to setup crews. One should be comfortable managing a team, doing a little heavy lifting, scheduling based on event needs and forecasting projects/ workflow. We work closely with all departments of the hotel, and communication is a key component to our success.

Experience in venue or restaurant management a plus. This position is full time and our general office hours are 9am-5pm or 10a-6pm Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, timing will vary based on event schedules.
