Site Based Role: Events & Social Media Manager (London)

THE COMPANY

An Iconic Events Brand, Boxpark delivers over 2,500 events a year across the estate with cutting edge music concerts, the most electric Football FanParks, mass participation fitness classes, Drag Brunches, Bingo, Lit Sync Battles, Poetry Nights, Fashion shows and we've even been known to have a bit of Mexican Wrestling within our programming all whilst capturing the content and distributing it within house. 

THE ROLE

BOXPARK are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is willing to go above and beyond the box ticking of a normal day to day job for the Events and Social Media Department at one/some of our London sites. This role will include daytime, evening and weekend work. The role reports to the Senior Events Manager. A strong network of events professionals and promoters is preferable alongside a keen eye for content capture and editting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage social media and events operations including:

-       Event calendar planning & programming

-       Sourcing new events and productions

-       Overseeing ticket sales and announce plans

-       Liaising with promoters and clients

-       Creating & Delivering social media campaigns

-       Technical setups and maintenance

-       Atmosphere management

-       Clear comms with operation, design and marketing depts

-       Budget managementP&L creation and reporting

-       Campaign management and ROI/P&L delivery

-       Weekly reporting and target reviews

-       Managing an Events & Social Media Assistant

-       Collaboration with Marketing and Graphics teams

-       Working alongside tenants on event plans

-       Managing the production and execution of events

-       Managing local business network relationships

THE CANDIDATE

Must have a firm understanding of the events and social media marketing landscape, excellent communication skills and the desire to learn. 

Keen interest in events, with the desire to take on all types of tasks within an events environment. A strong network of promoters and events professionals is also required.

Knowledge of social platforms in the context of strategy, maximising engagement and planning.

The successful candidate will be a confident, articulate and highly motivated person with a huge desire to learn.

Whilst being attributed to a ‘home’ site, the successful candidate will also work across other sites when the opportunity presents itself
