Job Description: 


To deliver on Brechtel Hospitality’s mission, the Sales Manager will provide a guest experience of outstanding quality and ensure a clear channel of communication with all guests. The Sales Manager secures private events at all Brechtel Hospitality venues, including but not limited to Copper Vine Wine Pub & Inn, Fulton Alley, Vintage Rock Club, Bonfire Catering & Events, and Walk Ons. This position handles customer inquiries and is the point-of-contact for executing contracts for private parties. They continuously uphold the Brand Standards as they build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners and leverage those relationships to continuously add other new events to our portfolio.

 Communications and Guest Relationship Management 

The Sales Manager must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be polished and articulate, and use their skills to manage guest relationships in person, via phone and email. They are an active Brand Ambassador at all times and pursue opportunities to increase visitation and build relationships with all guests  
 

Sales 
The Sales Manager is responsible for responding to all inquiries within their designated Sales Market. Speed to market is of the utmost importance to securing the business. The expected response time to new inquiries is within 4 hours of client outreach. All other communication (calls and emails) should be responded to on the same day as received, and no later than 24 hours after receipt. The Sales Manager is responsible for comprehensive event sales to include: meeting with client, negotiating contract terms, site inspections, planning of food and beverage menus, as well as other aspects of the event. Refer business as needed when more suitable to other Brechtel Hospitality venues. Network with and represent Brechtel Hospitality at networking events such as New Orleans & Co, etc.   

 

Qualifications:  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Able to operate Tripleseat, Toast, CloudBeds and Open Table operating systems 

  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team, with emphasis on ability to be a team leader 

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and efficient relationships with all levels of staff, guests and vendors 

  • Ability to act with discretion and good judgement regarding confidential matters 

  • Demonstrate use of sound judgement and discretion in making decisions, which comply with established procedures as well as the ability to handle new situations 

  • Able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis
