Chef de Partie

Our aim is to become a unique marketplace for food where we can deliver amazing fresh dishes in a relaxed environment whilst providing diners with a real point of difference. The beer agenda is eclectic, and our focus will be to deliver incredible flavours brewed on-site to accompany every dish on the menu.

Standing proud just off the A6 in Fairhill - Bedford, we are now looking for a fast paced and experienced Chef De Partie who can start immediately and work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends.

Your role as Chef de Partie:

You will need to be skilled, highly agile and ready to learn, delivering food to the highest standards is a bare minimum - be proud of what you put out! We currently are  a street food concept running outside while we keep one eye on our preparing our launch indoors. We look to rotate our menu frequently. From Aritsan Pizzas, Baos Buns to Burgers and who knows what's next! If you like a fresh rotating menu and the ability to cook new concepts then this is the place for you!

Your main duties as a CDP will involve:

- Running your own section, and working within a line
- Preparing pizzas quickly and efficiently - if you haven't slung dough before fear not we can teach you!

- Ensuring good hygiene and health & safety at all times
- Adhering accurately and consistently to portion controls
- Unloading and organising equipment and food deliveries
- Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life, including maintaining correct storage conditions
- Preparing and presenting of all food items to our brand standard, therefore achieving guest satisfaction at every eating occasion
- Ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance
- Having a ‘teamwork makes the dream work’ mind set
- Performing other duties as required, including deep cleans and laundry of kitchen towels and aprons

What we are looking for:

- Minimum 12 months experience in a busy kitchen environment
- A committed and passionate attitude to work, always looking to improve and have a positive response to feedback
- A can-do and hardworking attitude combined with a calm and efficient approach to your duties
- Consistent high working standards including attention to detail, organisation, reliability and team work
- Good initiative to increase efficiency and remain busy during working hours and take on extra responsibility
