Assistant General Manager

We're looking for an ambitious Assistant General Manager or Deputy manager to join the management team at our community pub, the Bridge in Barnes, situated right beside Hammersmith Bridge.   With a major refurbishment just around the corner, this is an exciting opportunity to join us as we begin a new chapter, and we want you to play a key leadership role in making this come to life.  Our vision is simple: to create a destination that combines elevated, seasonal pub food with genuine, warm hospitality, all while remaining at the heart of our local community.

Looking for development?  We serve fresh, seasonal food on a changing menu written in house and have a couple of rooms for overnight guests - so this is a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager to broaden their skillset working in a fresh-food, premium pub with rooms.    We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of key areas of the business who can take on projects as we look to grow the business. 

This is an ideal role for someone who:

• Has previous experience as an Assistant or Deputy Manager within hospitality.
• Loves being on the floor, leading by example and developing others.
• Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Enjoys building lasting relationships with regulars and becoming part of the local community.
• Is keen to develop themselves and their team.
