Description

Overview 

A Route Driver is responsible for delivering products to Dunkin’ Restaurants. The  driver is responsible for verifying orders, loading racks onto the delivery truck,  securing racks for safe transportation, and delivering into each Restaurant on  their route. 

Responsibilities Include: 

• Follow food safety standards 

• Loading, organizing, and off-loading racks and baskets on trucks • Safely driving from stop to stop 

• Managing delivery paperwork at each location 

• Timely communication of obstacles or other issues affecting timely delivery • Accurate truck safety, cleanliness, and operation inspections prior to  loading 

• Maintain a people focused culture in the bakery and restaurants • Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers 

• Monitoring climate control throughout the loading and delivery process 

Education/Experience: 

• None 

• Professional driving experience preferred

• Works well with others in a fast-paced team environment 

• On time, demonstrates honesty and a positive attitude 

• Willingness to learn and adapt to change 

• Attention to detail 

• Customer focus 

• Valid driver license and good driving record 

• Ability to stay organized and on schedule 

Physical Demands/Working Conditions: 

• Standing on feet 

• Repetitive motion including bending, stooping and reaching • Lifting objects including boxes, baskets and pails up to 50 lbs (if applicable) • Strict uniform requirements 

• Overnight work 

• Box trucks 16-24 ft.
