The Restaurant
Dressed in soft shades of green and immaculately designed by Nicola Harding and Sir Frank Lowe, the Fuji Grill showcases an impressive collection of 19th-century woodblock prints depicting the world celebrated Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji. Featuring an elegant menu of flawless sushi, sashimi and nigiri, alongside signature Beaverbrook dishes such as ‘Charcoal’ Wagyu with Juniper Miso, or a fine selection of modern Japanese gourmet specialities with our seasonal tasting menu.

What’s the role about?
As part of our Culinary Department, you’ll be joining as our Sous Chef, responsible for a section in the kitchen and the production of delectable dishes, serving stylish modern food in a relaxed but fast paced environment. Your talent will ensure our guests have the best dining experience in our Restaurant. 

Who you are
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a 5* luxury company is desirable
  • Excellent time management skills and able to work to deadline
  • Attention to detail, efficient and responsible
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
  • Ability to motivate, train and supervise junior members of the team
  • A genuine passion for the culinary arts and the desire to progress in this field
Salary: £45,000 per annum

Shift Pattern
  • This role consists of 45 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7.
  • Your shift patterns will typically consist of: 10:00-17:00 or 15:00-23:00.
