The Role - Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant business. This includes overseeing stock control, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing staff, delivering exceptional customer service, contributing to local marketing efforts, and assisting in financial planning. The AGM must possess a deep understanding of the restaurant industry, strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and meticulous organisational capabilities. Their collaborative efforts with the GM and the team are integral to maintaining a successful and smoothly running establishment.
