 Join us at The Bull Hotel and enjoy being part of a team that delivers a multitude of dining options from our main restaurant and courtyard dining areas to private dining and weddings.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our team and we are open to applications of various experience levels from Junior Sous to Senior Sous for this role. We are also happy to be flexible on hours for the right candidate over 4-5 days per week.

A beautiful 16th-century coaching inn situated in the bustling market town of Bridport. A truly special place to eat, drink and stay near the Jurassic coast. 

What we can offer you:

  • Full support and training in your role.
  • Approximate 45 hours per week over 5 days. 
  • Hourly or salary pay options available.

What we look for in a Sous Chef:

  • As a deputy to the Head Chef, you will take full control of the kitchen when they are away.
  • Someone who will take pride in preparing fresh food made from seasonal and fresh ingredients.
  • A creative Sous Chef who can bring new ideas and create fresh dishes.
  • Bring the best out of the kitchen team.
  • Take pride in every successful service.
  •  A hygiene qualification, excellent food knowledge and food safety awareness are all essential for this role.
