General Manager


Description

The General Manager will be responsible for running the restaurant—leading top-level leaders, taking ownership over all financials, encouraging and coaching the team, and thinking for the growth of the business. This leader must be able to think like an owner as he/she oversees key performance metrics, enhances the overall guest experience, creates and implements performance reviews, and develops a leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth.

Non-Negotiables

  • Responsible for leading, coaching, and developing Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members
  • Manage overall financial performance: ensure goals are met, improve margins, and analyze costs (inventory/food/labor, etc.)
  • Mentor, coach, develop, and build relationships with diverse team of people
  • Own the guest experience through achieving guest satisfaction goals
  • Develop a strong leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth
  • Celebrate successes while holding team members accountable for performance results
  • Ongoing evaluation of business needs and streamlining systems/processes for efficiency
  • Ensure the restaurant is meeting and exceeding all Burgerfi standards
  • Meet regularly with leadership team to execute the overall vision

Must Haves

  • Minimum three (3) years Restaurant General Management experience

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business or another related field a plus

·         Strong communicator able to effectively coach and give direction with enthusiasm, positivity, and energy

·         Driven leader with a growth mindset of continuous improvement who is passionate about achieving results

·         Systems and processes oriented

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Open availability and ability to work a changing schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
