Shift Compliance Coordinator
Carlos Bakery is seeking a highly organized and proactive Shift Compliance Coordinator to support daily workforce operations, employee compliance, and facility monitoring. This position is responsible for overseeing employee clock-ins, breaks, attendance compliance, uniform usage, workplace security presence, parking compliance, and ensuring employees remain at their assigned workstations during scheduled shifts.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, observant, professional, and comfortable enforcing company policies in a fast-paced production and retail environment.
· Monitor employee clock-in, clock-out, and break punches.
· Verify employees are following scheduled break and attendance procedures.
· Identify missed punches, attendance irregularities, or policy violations.
· Maintain attendance logs and communicate concerns to management and HR.
· Assist with timekeeping corrections and documentation when needed.
· Monitor employee uniform usage and compliance with company appearance, safety, and GMP standards.
· Ensure employees are properly geared before entering designated work areas.
· Address and report uniform, PPE, or compliance issues to management.
· Conduct routine walkthroughs of the facility to ensure employees are at their assigned workstations.
· Monitor workflow presence, break room activity, and adherence to operational expectations.
· Communicate staffing, attendance, or operational concerns to supervisors.
· Serve as an on-site security presence within the building.
· Monitor employee and visitor activity in designated areas.
· Support building access awareness and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access.
· Frequently walk around the building and parking areas to ensure vehicles display valid parking permits.
· Monitor parking compliance and report unauthorized vehicles or parking violations to management.
· Help maintain a safe, secure, and orderly workplace environment.
· Maintain accurate records related to attendance, compliance observations, incidents, and parking compliance concerns.
· Partner with HR, Operations, and Management teams on employee compliance matters.
· Support additional operational or compliance-related duties as assigned.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience in operations, security, HR support, manufacturing, production, or workforce monitoring preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
· Ability to professionally enforce policies and procedures.
· Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery, production, or retail environment.
· Basic computer and documentation skills preferred.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Ability to move throughout production, office, parking lots, and common areas.
· Ability to observe workplace activity and maintain awareness of facility operations.
This role operates within a bakery production, office, retail, and facility environment. The employee will frequently interact with production staff, corporate employees, visitors, and management while monitoring operational compliance, workplace activity, and parking compliance throughout the property.
