Casa Madera is a coastal-inspired dining experience where the spirit of the Riviera Maya meets elevated Mexican cuisine. The menu celebrates fresh, thoughtful ingredients, warm flavors, and dishes rooted in tradition while embracing a sense of ritual, grounding, and connection.

Designed to feel like a retreat from the everyday, Casa Madera blends soulful energy, handcrafted cocktails, and an atmosphere that moves effortlessly from relaxed to refined. Every moment is meant to feel immersive, intentional, and touched by the elements.

Casa Madera has locations in Toronto and West Hollywood, each offering its own interpretation of this coastal Mexican escape.  

The Barista will be responsible for providing a positive experience for guests, make various coffee/tea beverages, and keep barista area clean and tidy. An experienced individual will have 1+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Make all coffee and tea drinks

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines

  • Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers who may need additional assistance

  • Ensuring that all stations are stock and prepped as needed for business demand

Qualifications

  • Know how to make coffee drinks

  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities

  • Posses a diligent work ethic

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance

  • Display the ability to forecast and anticipate the needs of our guests and the restaurant

  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 35 lbs
