Job Summary
The Events Manager is responsible for driving restaurant-level event and catering revenue by proactively identifying, qualifying, and securing special events, BEOs, buyouts, and off-site catering opportunities. This role manages the full event sales lifecycle from initial inquiry through booking and coordination while ensuring all events align with brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Business Development:
Increase event sales through proactive outreach, follow-up, and relationship development.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and repeat clients.
Establish and execute strategies to support off-site catering growth.
Develop, maintain, and refresh all event sales materials and client-facing collateral.
Event Operations & Venue Collaboration
Fully qualify all incoming event, BEO, buyout, and catering inquiries to ensure alignment with brand standards and operational capabilities.
Partner closely with store-level management to ensure successful planning, execution, and follow-through of all events.
Train and support venue leadership on event management processes, expectations, and execution standards.
Ensure all events are communicated clearly and executed in accordance with approved BEOs and client expectations.
Database Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all leads, bookings, and events within TripleSeat.
Ensure all store-level management and reservation teams are properly trained and proficient in TripleSeat.
Monitor pipeline activity, conversion rates, and booking trends.
Support automated marketing triggers and seasonal event promotions to drive inbound demand.
Menu Development & Client Materials
Collaborate with Operations and Culinary teams to develop, update, and maintain all special event and buyout menus.
Create and refine off-site catering menu offerings aligned with brand standards and operational feasibility.
Develop and maintain polished, client-facing menu and event materials that reflect the brand’s fine-dining positioning.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
Respond to all event inquiries promptly and professionally, in accordance with response-time standards set by the Senior Events Manager.
Approach all leads with a “Guest First” mindset, prioritizing hospitality, clarity, and responsiveness.
Ensure all event interactions and executions meet or exceed brand and guest experience expectations.
Act as a brand ambassador throughout the sales and planning process.
Qualifications
Proven experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or restaurant events management.
Strong understanding of BEO creation, buyouts, catering logistics, and event execution.
Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and drive revenue growth.
Experience working with TripleSeat or similar event management platforms preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, culinary, marketing, and leadership teams.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time-management skills.
Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and brand excellence.
Availability to work flexible schedules as needed to support events and business demands.
