Job Summary
The Busser plays an essential role in supporting seamless service and maintaining service standards throughout the dining room. Working closely with Servers and the front-of-house team, Bussers ensure tables are cleared, reset, and maintained efficiently while anticipating service and operational needs. This position contributes to the overall flow of the dining room by providing attentive support, maintaining cleanliness, and helping ensure every detail of service is executed with consistency and care.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively anticipate the needs of Servers, guests, and the dining room to support smooth operations
Maintain working knowledge of food and beverage offerings to assist with garnishing, food running, and service support
Execute duties with precision and consistency by following established steps of service, even during high-volume periods
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all health and safety guidelines
Ensure side stations are properly stocked, organized, and prepared to meet business demands
Qualifications
Previous experience in a full-service restaurant environment; fine-dining experience preferred
Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance
Strong multitasking skills with a dependable and diligent work ethic
Ability to anticipate guest and operational needs in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for the duration of assigned shifts and lift up to 35 pounds
