Job Summary
The Bar Prep is a key support role responsible for ensuring all bar stations are fully stocked, organized, and prepared for service. This role works closely with Bartenders and Bar Leads to execute daily prep, including house-made cocktail components, while maintaining strict adherence to bar, cocktail, and health code standards. The Bar Prep must have a strong understanding of the cocktail and wine program and plays a key role in upholding consistency, quality, and efficiency behind the bar.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare house-made cocktail components, including syrups, juices, and garnishes, according to established recipes and standards
Support Bartenders and Bar Leads by maintaining fully stocked and service-ready bar stations
Ensure bar prep, inventory, and presentation meet company and brand standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar prep areas, including the liquor room
Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
Anticipate the needs of the bar team and provide proactive support during prep and service
Maintain working knowledge of cocktail, spirit, and wine offerings to support service flow
Qualifications
Strong multitasking skills with a dependable and service focused work ethic
Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance
Ability to anticipate operational and guest needs in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a full-service dining or bar environment
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for the duration of assigned shifts
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
