WHAT YOU’LL DO

This position is responsible for planning and leading the entire catering operation across our restaurant group. The Catering Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating catering and special events with the General Managers and the restaurant caterers.  The Catering Manager is also responsible for the budgets and financial goals of the department.  This is a base salary position, with commission. Can make up to 130k per year, based on experience. 

·       Engages as a member of the Senior Leadership Team Responsible for maximizing revenues and flow through to meet or exceed budgeted                sales. Activities include setting goals, completing competitive surveys, and compiling reports.

·       Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and team members though all                  catering sales and execution. 

·       Exhibits a whatever it takes attitude at events to ensure every guest feels seen, heard and appreciated.

·       Develop and implement an annual comprehensive marketing plan for catering, including but not limited to collateral, sales strategies, and                marketing budgets

·       Manage labor standards and restaurant level expenses to achieve maximum flow-through to the bottom-line profit. 

·       Book all catering orders. Provide full detail for the catering event to restaurant operations. 

·       Oversee inventory of catering equipment and materials across the brand. Audit quality of equipment and materials. 

·       Identifies and seeks out potential business in local restaurant markets. Maintains relationships with local companies and key people to                      increase the company's visibility within the markets the restaurants reside.

·       Develops and Manages Catering Marketing Materials including overseeing website, menu, promotional material updates, prices.

·       Ensures that all guest related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company's goals and objectives.

·       Trains General Managers and Catering team so they are exceeding catering standards.

·       Communicates all policies and procedures to entire catering staff across the brand. Conducts regular meetings to provide various information          including standard reviews, catering activities, sales goals and catering food standards.

·       Directly markets to previous guests during select times of the year to drives catering sales. 

·       Develop and implement catering solutions to meet guests’ needs

·       Develop a plan for catering department growth that will meet the needs of the growing business.

·       Develop and implement an annual comprehensive marketing plan for catering, including but not limited to collateral, sales strategies, and                marketing budgets

·       Establish and implement service and presentation standards for all catering operations, implement processes to ensure compliance and                    consistency

·       Implement new services to support base business growth and guest retention

·       Stay ahead of and advise guests, and team on current catering trends and products

·       Ensure compliance with all food, occupational and environmental safety policies

·       Support local marketing and community outreach through events as necessary

·       Responsible for response on guest feedback on social sites.

·       Highly skilled at financials, managing costs and labor and setting up effective systems

·       Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment; work effectively within a team; solve problems, adapt to change quickly and easily and            multi-task

·       Ability to work 45-50 hours a week, with standing, walking and alertness for extended periods of time

·       Scheduling flexibility to cover where sales are growing (lunch, dinner, weekends)

·       Must have valid state driver’s license and insurance upon hire

·       Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. as needed 

·       Continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching and twisting
