Title: Risk Management Coordinator
Reports to: Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis and Risk Management

Job Description
The Risk Management Coordinator will work closely with all CMC internal teams, be responsible for coordinating Risk Management incidents, information coordination, claims, and reporting, and will work with CMC’s insurance broker and carriers to handle insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
· Point person for all employee, customer, & property incidents. Intake claim information and organize data.
· Review initial claim information sent by location managers to ensure all necessary information is provided.
· Follow up with location management for missing information to ensure claim file is complete and submitted in a timely manner to carrier.
· Confirm appropriate data is saved in file and provided to insurance carriers.
· Coordinate or conduct internal investigations of incidents (employee or customer injuries) and ensure proper procedures are followed.
· Perform root cause analysis to determine how the incident occurred.
· Submit claims to the appropriate Insurance Company and insurance broker.
· Track all claims
· Conduit between Cafua Management and Claim Adjusters.
· Receive and review monthly claim reports.
· Attend Quarterly Claim Meetings.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in risk management, safety, or a related field is preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Knowledge of risk management principles and industry best practices is preferred.
· Strong communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to new software.
