Can you be our Cafe Chef?

Pay 

Annual salary £30,000 - £32,000 (to be discussed with each individual and experience dependent) with bonus scheme, 28 days holiday, pension scheme & Yearly target based bonus.

Hours

Excellent opportunity – providing very good work life balance working 8:30 - 17:00. You will be required to work an average of 42.5 hours each week.

Location

Various locations available: Cambridge City Centre & Eddington

Main Purpose of Job:

• Maintain CDC’s high-quality consistent food offering
• Ability to work under pressure & independently
• To communicate any allergen changes and make adjustments.
• Uphold a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• Create a safe and happy kitchen environment
• Assisting in the development of less experienced staff
• Working alongside the front of house team with a positive attitute

Key Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience within the hospitality and events industry
• Food Safety Level 3 certificate a desire but not essential
• A keen eye for detail
• Good management and leadership skills
• Majority of your work time will be 5 days out of 7 (incl weekends) many of which will be day time shifts, however flexibility of hours will be required as and when the business may need

Person Specification:

• Flexibility is a must. We are small team and a ‘can do’ approach will be needed
• Excellent communication skills with a great personality
• Time management essential
• Desire to contribute and the delivery of results
