Description

Canal – Reservations Manager
From the team behind Crispin and Bistro Freddie, Canal is our latest opening. A vibrant, waterside restaurant and bar in West London, built on seasonal cooking, quality drinks, music, and warm hospitality. Newly launched and already gaining momentum, Canal is a place where great food meets community spirit, and we’re now looking for a Reservations Manager to help us grow with intention and care.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the guest journey from the very first interaction. As Reservations Manager, you’ll oversee our booking systems, manage guest communications, and support our front-of-house and in managing events to deliver smooth, memorable service at every touchpoint.

What you’ll bring:

·       Previous experience managing reservations for a busy, high-profile restaurant or hospitality group

·       Confidence using booking platforms (e.g. SevenRooms, Triple Seat) and managing covers strategically

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

·       An organised, proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and flag opportunities or concerns

·       A guest-first approach, someone who values hospitality at every level

·       The ability to work closely with management, marketing, and FOH teams to support both daily service and long-term planning

What’s in it for you?

·       Free access to gym, spa, and pool on site

·       50% off food and drinks across all HAM. restaurant locations

·       20% off retail wine

·       Wagestream – access your earnings as you earn and save

·       Enhanced maternity and paternity pay

·       Refer a friend bonus (£1,000)

·       Increased holiday allowance with length of service

·       Milestone markers – we celebrate your big moments

·       Flexible shift patterns, including some remote work options for admin-based tasks

·       Personal development and training opportunities

If you’re a natural organiser with a passion for hospitality and a talent for turning systems into experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
