Purpose of Position
To consistently maintain the maximum cleanliness, comfort and appeal of all guest rooms and public areas in accordance with the standards as set forth by The Q Hotel Group and Captain Whidbey.
Looking for seasonal and possibly part-time Housekeepers with a flexible schedule and the ability to work on weekends, holidays, AM or PM shifts, reliable transportation.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities to include the following:
(Other duties may be assigned)
Clean rooms and bathrooms every day in according to set standards.
Remakes beds with the same sheets on a daily basis unless specified by stay over guests or depending on the length of stay in the hotel or hotel “water conservation” program.
Removes all dirty linen, terry, glassware and trash from guest rooms.
Renders personal assistance to guests if and as needed
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Replenishes all guest room supplies and hotel amenities
Replaces light bulbs when and as needed
Clean supply cart at the end of each shift, so that it is ready for morning use.
Remove all debris, room service trays, etc. from outside guest doors when present.
Properly records Lost and Found items per Captain Whidbey policy from guest rooms and brings to the housekeeping office on a daily basis.
Report all maintenance problems and concerns to your supervisor/manager or Chief Engineer.
Follow inspection checklist. Goal is 95% or higher for cleanliness score.
Arrive at work at your assigned time, ready and in the proper uniform (clean, ironed, and fresh smelling).
Punch time clock only when you are ready to begin work.
Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.
Have working knowledge of cleaning products and materials in accordance with OSHA regulations and the hotel safety guidelines.
Have the ability to interact verbally and effectively with all hotel guests and employees in a polite and positive manner.
Any other tasks as assigned by Director of Housekeeping or Supervisor.

The education, specialized training, required licenses or certifications and/or years of directly related experience required to enter this job:
• High School Diploma minimum.
• At least one-year of related Hotel Housekeeping experience
