Description

The Role

This is a fun creative role, with room for growth in many directions. You’ll be responsible for managing the Caravan Community by building out Caravan content, supporting events and managing mini activations across the whole brand. This is a hybrid role where you'll be in the roastery at least 3 days a week. 


About You

You are a self-starter with a keen creative eye and interest in coffee. Ideally, you’d be obsessed with nailing execution and delivering with an acute attention to detail. Creative thirst and a insight to brands, trends and culture is a must as you will be supporting the Brand Manager with ideation and execution closely in all activations across the brand. Experience in coffee, social media, scheduling and email software would be ideal (Klaviyo, Later and Shopify). but not necessary. Skills in Design software, such as InDesign, Photoshop and Canva, will be useful but not necessary.  There will be lots of opportunity to learn in this role. But being a quick learner will be key!


Key responsibilities

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Restaurant Marketing Manager as well as the CCR sales, coffee and production teams, this role will be about nailing execution and breathing personality into all that we do, to make great coffee easy for as many people as possible. You will be an ambassador for the brand, take a joyful interest and welcoming approach to all things CARAVAN. 

DIGITAL 

  • Support the delivery of the digital strategy, by ideating, creating and scheduling across email and social. 
  • Support projects around the business by creating and executing content plans aligned with the project. 
  • Manage the community, working closely with our Customer Experience Manager.
  • Be responsible for general content creation across video, photography, design and photoshop.
  • Update and upload content to website, including articles, banners and new products. 
  • Manage the influencer community and send outs. 
  • Report on digital content monthly.

TRADE MARKETING

  • Execute trade activations, and support on the development of trade toolkits. 
  • Manage small activations and community parties in line with the marketing plan.
  • Manage trade merch and POS stock levels.
  • Execute digital partnerships, spending time and making content at our accounts. 
  • Implementation of Caravan presence at festivals, trade fairs and pop-ups

SMALL PROJECTS

  • Assist the Marketing Manager with major projects across all parts of the business. 
  • Identify trends and support Marketing Manager on ideation. 
  • Own various small projects, such as a POS redesign, influencer send outs, this can be determined by the Brand Execs areas of  interests and development.
