THE ROLE

A really exciting opportunity to join Caravan as we grow our People Team. 

As the Senior L&D Manager, you will design and deliver a robust internal L&D strategy that our teams engage with, inducting new starters, developing careers and ensuring Caravan offers an unparalleled employee experience. You will be pivotal, alongside the Head of People, to create, drive and ensure the effective implementation of Caravan’s People Strategy through great Talent Management, Engagement and creative L&D practices, ensuring we have happy people in the right place at the right time, driving exceptional performance and happiness.

As the Senior L&D Manager, you will be fully responsible for all things learning & Development, whilst supporting the team on engagement and talent management initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will be able to work and think at pace, with a high level of attention to detail and efficiency
  • Highly engaging approach, able to connect easily with all people at Caravan, building strong relationships
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own workload
  • Collaborative mindset and team-orientation
  • Deep curiosity about people and L&D trends
  • Previous experience working in a people team and within the hospitality/retail sector
  • New site openings experience
  • CIPD level 5 desireable, but not essential
  • Commitment to ongoing self-development and confidence. 
  • An understanding of learning styles and ability to apply appropriate techniques to engage and support a wide variety of learners
  • The ability to take a data driven approach to analysing, evaluating, and reporting, on the effectiveness of L&D initiatives
  • A collaborative approach to work, ready to connect your work with the wider people strategy around EDI, culture, values, and the commercial business plan
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
