Associate Events Manager 

Compensation: $65K

Qualifications

·       Requires at least 2 years of experience in onsite corporate dining/catering and pantry operations planning.

·       Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up.

·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

·       Ability to work well under pressure, be able to multi-task, stay focused and resolve problems using good judgement. 

·       Excellent mathematical skills and invoice processing

·       Available to work event-based hours.

·       Excellent communications skills.

·       Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.

·       Ability to bend, stoop and lift 50lbs. minimum; walk and stand 50% of the day.

·       Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and EMS or comparable meeting management system.

·       Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

·       Be an Ambassador of JAG culture, history, and mission.

·       Work closely with the Director of Operations, Director of Culinary, and Service Manager to achieve and maintain the best quality and cost controls. As well as assisting with new hire paperwork and train new associates with catering set ups. 

·       Provide requirements or needs on an event-by-event basis for conference room catering and special events at a financial institution including but not limited to proofing BEOs and floor plans, staffing, equipment, and logistics.   

·       Manage event, catering, and pantry employees.

·       Ensure proper service for events and catering, including set-up, cleaning, and breakdown procedures.

·       Develop and maintain effective communication between JAG onsite and kitchen teams.

·       Control inventory levels, PARs, and record keeping.

·       Ensure the most accurate accounting procedures for staffing, food, and beverage costs such as invoice processing.

·       Check all food & beverage deliveries for quantity and quality using daily order sheets.

·       Assist in placing food, beverage, and supplies in their proper storage areas.

·       Monitor that all products are being properly stored and rotated using the FIFO method.

·       Monitor that requisitions are properly completed and signed.

·       Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of services crafted from BEOs.

·      Employee will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by the Director of Operations
