Sanitation Team Member

The sanitation team member will be responsible for various janitorial and sanitation activities within a GMP food manufacturing facility 5 days a week Monday-Friday.

 

What You’ll Do:

·       Clean office area, restrooms, break room, rest rooms, and hallways per our master sanitation schedule.

·       Removal of production waste generated throughout the day.

·       Stocking of required GMP supplies for the production team.

·       Assist in managing GMP supply inventory.

·       Perform non-routine cleaning tasks including but not limited to cleaning transfer bins, cleaning drains in non-production areas, and cleaning of non-production areas.

·       Assist in cleaning of warehouse spaces.

·       Utilize good documentational practices to record cleaning activities.

·       Utilize floor scrubber around the facility

 

The Qualifications:

·       Demonstrate proper clock management and maintain strong attendance.

·       Ability to read and follow procedures (in English or Spanish).

·       Maintain close concentration and visual attention to assigned tasks.

·       You must be willing and able to follow instructions.

·       Strong verbal communication skills.

·       Familiarity with smart phones and tablets.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

·       Physical dexterity, ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull trash hoppers.

·       The ability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry, cold) 

·       The ability to stand and work on feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time 

·       Must be able to identify, assess and observe detail

·       Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.

·       Ability to squat, kneel, bend and twist

·       Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

·       Allergens: We prepare products with milk and sesame containing ingredients.  Team members must be able to work with these ingredients.
