As a Bar Supervisor, you will ensure to support the Ass. Bar Manager on the daily run of the outlet, support with guest experience, maintain operational standards, and assist servers and hosts on the floor to ensure efficient and effective service

Strives to continually improve guests’ service and team performance, ensure that the highest standards of hospitality are demonstrated at all times within the bar areas to all our guests and colleagues alike.

Being able to serve and explain to guests any food & beverage item on the menu including ingredients and discussing any allergy information.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure the service and bar teams are fully trained and confident with the outlet’s policies and standards.
  • Creating seasonal cocktail recipes liaising with the bar manager and other bartenders.
  • Ensure the team is fully knowledgeable on all menu items.
  • Carry out staff briefings, organise training sessions.
  • Help improve staff engagement and satisfaction.
  • Effectively organise the staff and breaks based on business needs, ensuring everyone is aware of their daily tasks and duties.
  • Ensure staff meet and respect grooming standards.
  • Lead by example, promoting the company’s values and standards.
  • Ensure smooth handover at the end and beginning of each shift.
  • Ensure service and floor are running smoothly in an organised way.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other team members.
  • Carrying out opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness
  • Run inventories when and if required.
  • Ordering stock in an accurate manner respecting PAR levels
  • Ensure all work areas (front and back of house), materials, and equipment are clean and well-maintained, reporting defects using the appropriate system and/or reporting them to the ass F&B manager.
  • Cellar management/line cleaning.
