Piccadilly Construction, our in-house Contraction Management Team, is seeking a Roofing Foreman to assist and manage in the maintenance of flat roofs on buildings across London

The Roofing Foreman is responsible for monitoring a team in repairing, maintaining, and building roofs on a range of buildings throughout London. Many of these projects are listed so you will need to preserve historical integrity and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess damage or wear on building roofs
  • Repair or replace damaged roofs
  • Run a team of roofers on a variety of projects
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Comply with safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and conservation officers when working on heritage buildings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the flat roof trade
  • Experience in managing teams of roofers
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern roofing procedures
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE use.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using scaffolding or lifts.
  • Certification in roofing trade is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working on historic or listed buildings.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for architectural aesthetics.
  • Basic knowledge of construction or conservation standards.
