Cecconi’s is a modern day classic Italian restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days a week. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday. Cecconi’s serves hand-made pasta, seafood and dishes from Italy using the finest ingredients. We are looking for an F&B Manager that has worked in a similar high volume environment.




Main Duties:

The F&B Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the restaurant’s food & beverage department. The F&B Manager will be largely responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, process payroll and oversight of F&B staff, along with, private parties, a la carte dining and other events. This position will report directly to the General Manager.

Checking Floor schedules during the working week.
Hire, train, develop, counsel, evaluate, and discipline staff, including performance reviews and conducting onboarding plan for new staff.
Ensure smooth running of the F&B operations
Be in charge of all food menu served throughout the restaurant, design, tasting, service.
Implement monthly team and individual training sessions
To attend Management training and meetings as and when required.
Liaise with maintenance department to ensure all areas are in perfect condition to ensure smooth service and design standard of Cecconi's West Hollywood
Liaise with other managers in relation to wine training
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of property liaising with cleaning company.
Make sure that your teams are aware of their responsibility in respect of prevention and action in the event of fire in accordance with the Restaurant fire plan and current legislation
Ensure maximum revenue is achieved from all sales opportunities
Analyzes financial statements for the food & beverage operations (income and expenses) relative to budgeted goals and takes corrective measures as necessary.
To be instrumental in the recruitment and training of new staff
Maintain staff product knowledge and up selling skills
Ensure the standard of service provided to each guest is to the Company’s defined standard
Creates and implements all policies & procedures for F&B department.
Ensure that the agreed standard of personal presentation is maintained at all times by the staff
Ensure the Company’s Health & Safety policy is adhered to at all times.
Ensure that new staff turn up for their induction
Development of junior managers/supervisors
Gather guests feedback and forward to GM
Perform an active role on CGS control while supporting all new initiatives, inventories and directions from management
Proactive approach to new ideas and changes
Any other duties as directed by the General Manager
Must have 3-5 years related experience in food & beverage operations with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation.
