Cass Family Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to all members of our community, is seeking a Patient Engagement & Activities Assistant. This role is perfect for a compassionate, energetic individual who enjoys working directly with patients to enhance their clinic experience and promote patient well-being.

This position focuses on creating engaging, educational, and supportive activities for patients of all ages, while assisting clinic staff with patient-centered programming and community outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Patient Engagement Coordinator in organizing and implementing patient-centered activities, both one-on-one and in small or large groups.

  • Support patient comfort and engagement within the clinic environment.

  • Foster a welcoming sense of community for patients and families.

  • Lead interactive activities such as wellness workshops, health education sessions, and therapeutic engagement exercises.

  • Assist with decorating clinic spaces for seasonal events or special programs.

  • Develop and maintain a calendar of activities for patient programming and community engagement.

  • Document patient participation and progress in accordance with clinic policies.

  • Support volunteer efforts and community outreach initiatives.

  • Maintain activity supplies and ensure work areas are clean and organized.

  • Utilize creative strategies to enhance patient experience and promote overall well-being.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous experience in patient engagement, activities coordination, or healthcare support preferred.

  • Ability to interact positively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Energetic, creative, and compassionate approach to patient engagement.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment and collaborating with staff.
