As a Receptionist, you'll be at the forefront of our guest experience, embodying confidence and charm as you engage with visitors and ensure their needs are met with grace and efficiency. Working collaboratively within our front office team, you'll showcase your impeccable attention to detail and organisational prowess to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for their stay.
  • Provide exemplary customer service, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs with enthusiasm.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the high standards of Firmdale Hotels.
  • Demonstrate a passion for detail, ensuring accuracy in all guest interactions and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously, striving to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, efficiently managing reservations and room assignments.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the front office by proactively identifying areas for improvement and offering innovative solutions.

What you Need:

  • Ability to provide outstanding service to guests, exceeding their expectations and ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with guests, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a dynamic front office team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in guest interactions, administrative tasks, and maintaining the hotel's high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing guest needs, business demands, and operational procedures while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Resourcefulness to effectively address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and handle unexpected situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Comfortable using hotel management software, reservation systems, and other technology tools to efficiently manage guest bookings, check-ins, and administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding the hotel's values of warmth, professionalism, and impeccable presentation in all interactions and appearances.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a desire to create exceptional guest experiences, contributing to the reputation and success of Firmdale Hotels.
