As a pivotal member of our Kitchen Team, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth running of our culinary operations. From maintaining impeccable cleanliness to supporting our chefs in preparing exquisite dishes, your contributions will be integral to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a pristine and organised kitchen environment, adhering to strict hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in the receiving and storage of deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the kitchen team in basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Operate dishwashing equipment with precision, ensuring all crockery, utensils, and equipment are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Collaborate closely with chefs and fellow kitchen staff to facilitate seamless service during busy periods.
- Display a proactive approach to tasks, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to go above and beyond expectations.
- Uphold a positive and team-oriented attitude, contributing to a harmonious working environment where mutual support and respect are paramount.
What you Need:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or food service environment.
- A genuine passion for food and a desire to learn and develop within the culinary industry.
- Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.
- A flexible and adaptable mind set, willing to embrace hands-on tasks and contribute to the success of the team.
