We are currently seeking confident, motivated and service-driven individuals to join our teams as a Kitchen Porter.  These are hands-on roles where you will support the kitchen team in cleaning and preparing service ware and have a key role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness to maintain our food hygiene star rating.

Responsibilities

  • Support the chefs ensuring all preparation cooking utensils and equipment are clean and available for each service.
  • Clean and wash all service ware, cutlery and store appropriately
  • Top up consumables to ensure their availability
  • Clean down surfaces, floors and follow deep cleaning schedules
  • Empty bins in accordance with our recycling requirements

Requirements
  • Previous experience advantageous but not essential.
  • flexibility to work different shifts to support the team throughout the day and evening.
  • Flexibility to be available for weekends, bank holidays and key celebration dates throughout the year.
  • Able to follow instructions and take leadership from the senior chefs and hotel management.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy environment.
    Ability to work as part of a team.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering the high standards required for this essential role.
