We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-focused and hardworking individual to join the team at The Falmouth Hotel as a Public Areas Cleaner. This important role helps ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas throughout the hotel, including lounges, corridors, reception areas, toilets and other guest-facing spaces.
Carry out regular cleaning duties to ensure areas remain clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the day.
Replenish guest supplies and amenities in public washrooms.
Report maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns promptly.
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored correctly.
Support the housekeeping team with additional duties when required.
Adhere to all health & safety, hygiene and company procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the highest standards throughout the hotel.

Requirements

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
A positive, proactive and reliable attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills and a professional manner.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
A genuine commitment to creating a welcoming environment for guests.
