Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Third Space - The Whiteley

Description

We’re looking for a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support our pre-opening team at Third Space Whiteley. You’ll help lead our early and late shifts, ensuring all areas of the club are immaculate and guest-ready. This role is a hands-on role - not just managing, but actively working alongside the team to deliver exceptional standards from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Housekeeping Manager and wider team in preparing the club for launch and ensuring all housekeeping operations run smoothly
  • Lead by example on shift, maintaining a strong presence and holding clear accountability for your areas
  • Ensure the team follows all cleaning procedures, especially during training and onboarding of new joiners
  • Carry out regular checks in high-traffic areas such as changing rooms, showers, studios, and communal spaces
  • Manage restocking processes, deep cleaning schedules, and oversee task completion throughout your shift
  • Monitor team punctuality, attitude, and performance, helping to build a high-functioning and reliable team culture
  • Step in when needed to cover gaps in service and keep the club looking and feeling its best
  • Play a key role in embedding standards and setting the tone for the club’s opening and beyond
 What You’ll Get
  • A full-time, stable role with a competitive salary
  • Complimentary Third Space membership for you and a friend (worth over £6,000 per year)
  • Generous staff discounts, wellness initiatives, and exclusive employee perks
  • Ongoing development and support from a passionate, high-performing team
  • A dynamic, people-first workplace where your contribution makes a real impact
 What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within a premium, fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading or supervising a team with confidence and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable managing performance and holding team members to high standards
  • A visible, floor-based leader who leads by doing
  • Flexible, hardworking, and focused on delivering exceptional service from day one

If you’re excited about being part of a brand-new opening and helping shape the club’s standards from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
